SLO 1 Students will become educated Bible-based believers

BIB 1113 Old Testament Survey- Students will be able to outline, understand, and know the different genres and purpose of the Old Testament.

BIB 1133 Bible Study Methods- Students will diagram and outline chapter(s) of Scripture, explaining the passage’s message for today.

THE 1143 AG History, Doctrine, and Practices- Students will understand the history, doctrine, missions movement and organizational governance of the Assemblies of God.

BIB 2213 Acts and Corinthians- Students will examine the exegetical, theological, and historical aspects of the books of Acts and I & II Corinthians in relation to the New Testament to understand the mission of the church today.

THE2223 Theology I- Students will pursue a Bible-based theology that adheres to the inerrant Word of God and discover His plan for humanity, focusing primarily on: Theological Method and Foundations, Bibliology - the Scriptures, Theology Proper - the One True God, The Trinity, Angelology - Created Beings, Angels, Creation, Anthropology - the Creation of Humanity, Hamartiology - the Origin and Nature of Sin (Hamartiology)

BIB 3293 Pentateuch- Students will examine the exegetical, theological, and historical relationship between the Old Testament and the New Testament.

BIB 3343 Biblical Hermeneutics- Students will examine Scripture by using the five steps in the interpretive journey to study.

BIB 4413 Life of Christ in the Gospels- Students will examine the exegetical, theological, and historical relationship between the Gospels. The common and distinctive characteristics and theology of each gospel will be evaluated.

BIB 1123 New Testament Survey- Students will be able to outline, understand, and know the different genres and purpose of the New Testament

BIB 1153 Biblical Perspective of Missions- Students will examine a Biblical theology of missions with an emphasis on the church in the world.

BIB 2383 Biblical Ethics- Students will evaluate Biblical ethics in issues of modern society.

BIB 3163 Biblical Leadership- Students will examine aspects motivation, leadership style, team building, power, decision-making, organizational culture, and conflict resolution as presented in the Bible.

THE 3353 Theology II- Students will pursue a Bible-based theology that adheres to the inerrant Word of God and discover His plan for humanity, focusing primarily on: Christology - the person and work of Christ, Soteriology - salvation of man; Pneumatology - the person and work of the Holy Spirit, Ecclesiology - the nature and mission of the Church, Eschatology - End times and prophetic future events

BIB 4423 Romans and Galatians- Students will examine the historical context and respective thematic content of the books Romans and Galatians.

SLO 2 Students will become Christians of growing character

COL 1112 College Life & Development- Students will understand the principles relating to 5 areas of discipline: (spiritual, financial, time, personal and leadership) and can effectively apply these principles to their personal life.

REL 3133 Authentic Christianity- Students will practice spiritual disciplines for character formation through the reading of Scripture, personal and intercessory prayer, guidance of the Holy Spirit, and purity of lifestyle

SLO 3 Students will become Spirit-filled disciples and disciple makers

CMN 3823 Christian Education Programs- Students will examine philosophies of teaching and instructional methods of the teaching-learning process including learning styles; curriculum evaluation and planning; and educational administration

PMN 4643 Biblical Preaching Lab- Students will preach various types and styles of sermons from a variety of Biblical genres

PMN 2363 Homiletics- Students will construct various types and styles of sermons from a variety of Biblical genres.

CMN 3433 Teaching the Scriptures- Students will examine the principles and tools necessary for planting and revitalizing churches in various contexts.

SLO 4 Students will become family, church, and community servants

PMN 3373 Pastoral Counseling- Students will understand and examine basic counseling philosophies to apply spiritual answers to life problems.

PMN 4593 Church & Legal Management- Students will examine the functions of governance, law, and finances in the church setting.

Church internships- Students will become community servants in the local church under the mentorship of a pastor.

Summer internships- Students will become family and church servants in a local church or ministry under the mentorship of a pastor or ministry supervisor.

CMN 2213 Foundations of Church Ministries- Students will understand the polity and policies of the Assemblies of God and the personal, interpersonal, family, and professional dimensions of ministry.

CMN 4913 Church Plant and Revitalization- Students will examine the principles and tools necessary for planting and revitalizing churches in various contexts.

SLO 5 Students will become multi-cultural and mission-focused ministers

CMN 4943 Church Ministry Practicum- Students will demonstrate evidence of a genuine commitment to excellence and preparation for church ministry.

CMN 4523 Evangelism and Discipleship- Students will examine the New Testament mandate and models for personal evangelism and discipleship training and demonstrate an ability to personally practice and teach these effectively.

PMN 4513 Church Administration- Students will examine principles of effective church administration and the management of various ministries in the local church.

Missions- Students will demonstrate their ability to be multi-cultural and mission-focused ministers during an assigned missions ministry team assignment.

CMN 3393 History of Christianity- Students will analyze significant periods, events, movements, and personalities of church history from the time of Christ to the modern era.

CMN 4713 Music in Worship- Students will understand the role of music in worship.

CMN 4963 Principles & Practices of Church Ministry- Students will examine ministry principles and practices based on the pastoral model.

SLO 6 Students will integrate a broad knowledge in general education for a Christian worldview

ENG 1113 Composition & Rhetoric I- Students will write effective essays using conventions appropriate to audience, purpose, and genre while following the writing process.

BIO 2114 Biological Science and Lab- Students will demonstrate their knowledge in the major concepts of biological sciences and the characteristics of life.

ENG 2173 Composition & Rhetoric II- Students will write effectively for a variety of purposes using conventions appropriate to audience, purpose, and genre while following the writing process.

MTH 2123 College Algebra- Students will demonstrate their knowledge of problem-solving strategies and a foundation for higher levels of mathematics in algebra.

GES 3273 Computer Data Analysis- Students will effectively employ computer skills to enhance ministry through correspondence, presentations, organization, and research.

SPN 3113 Spanish Language and Culture (as offered)- Students will develop Spanish speaking skills and an understanding of culture in Spanish-speaking countries.

HIS 1113 American History- Students will demonstrate knowledge of key historical periods, events, people, and locations related to early U.S. history.
COM 1143 Fundamentals of Speech- Students will understand basic verbal and non-verbal communication techniques and present public speeches effectively.
PSY 1113 Introduction to Psychology- Students will demonstrate knowledge of the history, science, approaches, and research in psychology.

ENG 2273 Introduction to Literature- Students will engage in the close reading and critical analysis of fictional literary genres.

GOV 2213 National and State Government- Students will explore the branches government and their functions and understand the basic organizations and policies of the political system.
